Steel station for Gurgaon metro line
February 2, 2010 09:03:05The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided to build the Chhattarpur station on the Central Secretariat (CTST)-Huda City Centre (Gurgaon) line in steel to ensure it is ready for use before the Commonwealth Games.This will be the first fully-steel metro station in the country, a DMRC official said, adding that it would incur an additional 30% to 50% cost."A conventional concrete station would have taken at least two years, which is too late considering the Games later this ye...Posted by Eklavya Atray / DNA in Delhi category.
