Kandhamal riot-hit narrate woes to EU delegation
February 5, 2010 08:52:55After waiting for clearance from both the Centre and Orissa government for more than a year, an 11-member delegation of the European Union (EU) on Thursday finally visited a number of relief camps and riot-affected villages in Kandhamal.The team also hinted at a possible grant of 15 million Euros for the overall development of the region.The delegation met riot-affected people in Nandagiri, Nilingia and Hatapada Sahi.
